Training Center

Our training center is equipped with all the tools you need to prepare yourself with the skills and knowledge to make you an asset to our trade and our contractors.

We are a state registered apprenticeship program, as well as being certified through the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Ironworkers. Our four (4) year apprenticeship program along with Cuyahoga Community College (CCC) is a combination of "On-the-job" training and related classroom instruction under the supervision of a Journeyman - Level trade professional.

Ironworker apprentices invest over eight hundred (800) hours in trade related classroom and hands on instruction, while earning thirty (30) to thirty-two (32) credit hours in technical coursework.

Our Apprentices are educated in multiple certifications.  First and foremost they are certified in a ten (10) hour OSHA course; safety is a priority here at Ironworkers Local 207.  They attain other certifications such as: 

OSHA 30 Sub-Part R Steel Erection Aerial Lift
CPR & First Aid Confined Space Post Tensioning
Lead Hazard Scaffold Erector/Dismantler Qualified Rigger

AWS Weld Certs          

  • Stick (SMAW)
  • Wire (FCAW) + others
